Has anyone got any chevette brake booster clevises lying around that they are willing to part with? I need at least one, preferrably two.

you may want to dumb it down a little... wtf is a clevis? I thought it was cluthead's best mate, don't think this is what you mean though...

May have a couple, but finding them... If I were you, I'd just measure up what I needed and buy them from a local hardware/fastner shop. Should be only a couple of bucks each.

the clevis is the bit on the end of the brake booster rod that attaches to the brake pedal. The bit that the clevis pin goes through (thats where the pin got it's name from) I'll see if bay engineers here in palmy have them but most of them tend to have too small a thread up the back of them for what i need.

Me bad, I thought it was the pin you needed. In a different application, I had to fabricate some - I used a couple of pieces of hex' rod drilled and tapped then welded a couple of pieces of 3mmx20mm mild steel on the sides before drilling the pin hole and cleaning it up. I've also seen them made by cutting/milling a slot instead.

I got none, only whats on my spare boosters would rather not take off as I will no doubt end up needing them...

sweet as.. I'm getting some from RS components. They aren't exactly what i wanted but will have to do. I'm pretty sure the clevis pin on the chevettes are 8mm with a 10mmx1.5 thread on the clevis. The ones i'm getting are 10mm pins...
