will a chevette diff bolt striagit into a gemini without mods?

I can't comment as I have never compared the two. There can't be much difference though. If you get stuck I have a couple of gemini diffs kicking around in Hawkes Bay

Two different Chev' diffs - the hatch and wagon one with inclined* dampers and the panhard rod fitted tot he passenger side and the saloon with vertical* dampers and the panhard rod fitted to the driver's side.
*can't remember if the damper mount on the diff is the same or different.

to fit a gem wagon diff into my vette wagon i just needed to drill out a couple of holes (the frontbracket bit? they wouldnt swap over) and modify the brake line a bit

Hatch & Wagon diffs are the same style.. Just need to swap brakeline junction and drill out the torque tube mount.

why do you want to fit a vette diff into a gem? or did I read that wrong? Same as everyone above, minor tweaks and will go straight in. The only Chevette diff I have is in the gruntiest Chevette I have- maybe they aint so bad

*** no one has addressed this bit... not sure if the driveshaft would bolt on if you are keeping stock engine setup...

Because my gemin diff was making weird sounds so we welded it up and my car got greened so i need to take it back to vtnz and our mate have a few chevettes and his house so he was gonna sell me a diff for 100 i have a piazza one in my other gemini so will propz just use that just got change sway bar mounts
