2x 1256 engines (1 overheated. 1 blown bottom end) ^ all parts available ^ 2x chevette 4speeds 1x gemini 4speed a full chevette exhaust i pieced together, good new mufflers. 1x chevette diff once i get it out
ill keep the starter and alternator and a few other bits and pieces but everything else will be going to metalman on sunday if noone wants it.

nuts sorry mate i started pulling them out then realized i had no idea how and ran out of time. will get it sorted after work tomorrow. pm me any tips on removing them xD

They're a mushroom type follower - you'll need to remove the sump, the front timing chain cover, tensioner, camshaft retaining plate and after turning the engine upside down - or at least more than 90 degrees (you need to do that to stop them dropping and hanging up the camshaft when you try to remove it), you can push back (up) the followers and remove the camshaft. That'll give you access to the followers which should just pull out.
Before using them in another engine, make sure you get them resurfaced - and use plenty of anti-scuffing paste or moly' grease on the bottom of the followers and the camshaft lobes.
