mite have an aftermarket switch in a Chevette blank plate that will fit straight into the hole... would need wiring. Let me know if keen will have a hunt. OG switches are hard to find as they all explode like yours no doubt has.

its on my chevette sedan. na i got that flap that covers it but i need the gas cap cus my gas falls out when i go round corners haha.
