well im in the process of putting new cam in and dubble valve springs in, got this little kit for a steal i think, well the bloke gave me some cast iron rockers with different clearence screw bolt thingys [mine are flat and these 1s are rounded] thinking about swapping them over, shuld i run the cast iron rockers or the alloy ones? we hope to have flywheel back from shop soon to drop in new clutch, i heard some sort of skyline pressure plates will fit??? any opinions?

With a new/reground cam', you should be using new followers - or at least properly refaced - as the old ones will be slightly worn in a different way to the new cam', this means there's a good chance it'll damage the cam lobes. I'd probably go for the alloy rockers with a good dollop of anti-scuff paste to help the bedding in without excess wear.

oh no i think i already went wrong with that, i installed the cam and rotated the cam by hand a few turns and put a few drops of new oil on there 'did oil filter change at same time', haha had this guy at repco say nice sounding roter u got there haha then i told him at was a 4 pot haha he had nothing to say but nice wheels lol, when i work ot how to put up pics ill thow some up of what iv been doing latley
