Retro Show , Santa Pod , England 03/07/11

So after doing Billing on the Saturday we went along to Santa Pod on the Sunday , it's only about ten miles away .

Not a lot of Opel/Vauxhall but some interesting stuff there..

Didn't have a lot of time to spare so nipped around quickly and took pics of what I liked instead of everything ..

There was a twin engined Alfa in here somewhere , it was a bit popular.



Funnily enough a Renault 5 Turbo passed us on the way down , haven't seen one on the road for years.

Nicely finished Golf , those colours shouldn't work together but they do .





















Liking the wheels on the next two , nicely detailed.

Never thought I'd see a cool Spitfire but there ya go.













Another car I'd wanted to see for long time , ChrisT's Manta - just 'cos it's 'not your usual Manta build'... Love it .

Another car I've wanted to see for a while , didn't actually know it would be there so a nice surprise !







A well worn path but it looks sooo right .



Parked up with the ratty mob but looked ok to me













Way cooler than a go-ped..



Lose the stickers on the back , paint inbetween the rear lights red = my favourite new chuvitt.





Loved this - just looks hard as nails when it's parked up . Love the black roof / grey body combo too .

goodness, you certainly were a happy snapper...
A few cars I recognised - I think the Morry 1000 was a previous C&CC winner when it was running a twin turbocharged 3.5 Rover.
