anyone got good sugestions on something to drive the dore hinges out, can get the top ones out of the front doors but the bottom ones u cant get a drift to go straight on to them, help?

It's a friggin' stupid idea - just to save a couple of bucks on the production line, the Cally has the same arrangement. I made up a sort of tool manyyears ago with a cut down parallel punch welded to a solid bar at 90 degrees, and by hitting the bar, it knocked out the pin. No idea where it may be now, haven't seen it in nearly 20 years. Could be an option for you, though?

there is a proper pin puller/pusher, you know any panel beaters? may have one sitting in bottom drawer that hasnt been used since 1987...

yeah seen them on trade eh. quite expensive though. just find something to whack them through with and use heaps of crc in the hinge first. once theyre loosened up theyre pretty easy to get out

you can buy them from the toolman (Sulco tools or similar) for about 30 bucks from memory - if any of you get the tool truck coming around work he will normally have one on board. failing that, give them a call and they will probably even stop by. That's where I got mine from
