I've got a gemini diff and brakes that I was going to chuck into my chevette but i'll never get round to it. Cost me $40 so ill sell it for that. You will also get the torque tube.
Give me a call on 02102913650 if yout keen.

an rikit, that diff is a TX gemini borgwarner diff aparently similar to Torana's of the time and supposedly slitely better than the later diffs. Don't ask me better how... they don't have a rear sway bar though, pre RTS is the TX... then again took rear swaybar out of my wagon and seems to handle about the same...

shouldnt be paying more than a hundy for a gem diff. i just gave one away recently sorry - it didnt have a torque tube though. lol all my old diff deals...  |

Brad has been using a standarc Chevette diff in his wagon for a while with a 2 litre ECOTEC - it's survived several track days and visits to the drag strip. yea was thinking of this... can't remember his power output but must be up towards your desired level... Also people seem to like hilux lsd conversions in old cars... not sure of final costs, bulldog and zep may know more... |

standard piazza disks arent much bigger than chevette ones just theyre vented. you want turbo piazza front discs - much bigger than standard. good luck finding those though lol - like hens teeth

Its not so much the disc size, they're vented and the brake pad surface area is roughly 3 times the size of a chevettes pad..
Conversion is too simple you'd be silly not to do it..
