only drove it round that barn and revving it on the hoist! I can't wait to see how she goes. I reckon it'll go pretty good tho....was around 200bhp from previous owner. Couple that with a pretty light car....weeeeeeeeeee. LSD worked good With any luck I should have obtained a national race license and the car being ready my first event will be the weekend 13/14 Sept at Puke the HRC event. Feel free to rock up and meet me should you guys feel that way inclined or you can watch it on tv when it gets televised.

Make sure that you come to the Oldschool Nats in March. I know it's far away, but will still be awesome

I've only driven it at 5kph but Tony has taken it down the road and said it handles and goes very well and that coming from Tony means something. Expecially considering his Chevette with 255bhp! and full race setup. With luck I'll be driving it home tomorrow or next day.

Does Tony do work for other people?

Cool, thanks for that. When I get home (end of Jan) I'd be pretty keen to come have a geez at your car if that would be possible?

All good questions my man, I don't have the answers. I'm catching up with tony over the break so will get some details for you. No worries at all catching up mate. If you like I can take you up to see Tony also and his place full of motoring goodies.

That would be excellent. I have talked to him once before at the domain hill climb, seemed like a good guy. Not that he would remember some kid yelling about turbo coupes I a keen to maybe redo the diff mounting in my car though... guess it would be good to talk to him about it. Cool, I'll message you when I return and we can sort something out!! I'm keen as to see your car!

He'll remember.....he's a freak like that. Look forward to your return. I'm keen for us all to catch up as I've not met anyone from here besides Gordo. We should organise an outing of some sort. Take cars to Mission bay domain or simialr for a bbq etc.
