I believe it's 5mm brackets...can't remember sorry but she's pretty large. The rose joints are completely sealed units as if you use normal ones (cheap ones) they're not designed for this type of work load and stuff out. I'll try and take some photos next time of the rose joints but essentially they're what Tony recommended replacing the ones I had with. They're also a lot thicker and stronger.
When you say cost are you meaning to have an escort diff with lsd and four link it? or are you talking about 4 linking the standard gemini setup?

Haha, it could have been. Where about's was that? Traffic lights - McLeods Road/Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu South. The Gem' was waiting on McLeods East and I was heading South in one of the work trucks. Looked damned sweet, whoever it belonged to.

Coming along nicely indeed, did It have a little duck tail spoiler on it at some stage (judging by the paint missing)
Diff setup looks rather slick indeed!

Yeah it did and I'm trying to find a replacement! The previous owner took it off as he reckoned it was too heavy! I swear....some people....not only that but he had thrown it away. I have a nice rubber front chin spoiler for it tho.

Should just make a thin Gurney flap for it, would look mean! Like this only waaay less angle, and non adjustible maybe, clear plastic with shiney round bolt heads holding it on ( - sound like a magpie right there..) Oh and on that note, needs more Danica Patrick...

Is coming....hydraulic. we haven't hooked up the brake lines yet. IIRC, that'd be illegal for road use - there's a few companies that do mechanical calipers for use as handbrakes. Heading off to watch the F1 in a moment so get back to you later.

I've checked this and a hydraulic is fine if it has a ADR number a la all new cars with hydraulic handbrakes or in my case where it can be added to the car's COD cert

You mean 'start it up' - had interesting experiences with carb's literally 'firing up' when they've sat for a while.
