75 an hour? i know lawyers that charge less than that. :S Wish it wasn't costing so much but happy with end results, def wouldn't have proceeded with car if I'd known how much it would end up costing, it's waaay rustier than I originally thought (or at least was rustier) could have bought complete certed runner for same or a little more but thems the breaks, too far along to stop now. Also been paying it off so not as painful as coughing up 1000's in one go. Pretty crazy overheads running a shop though so I do understand...

75 an hour? i know lawyers that charge less than that. :S lol Barry White. you dont make that much on 50 an hour after overheads/expenses and tax 50 an hour is pretty much as cheap as you will find for any type of tradesman. call a plumber and ask him how much he charges per hour edit: i quote for lawnmowing at around 40-60 an hour may aswel go work at pak n save if you aint makn money outa your business.

hmmm yeah think id mow my own lawn at that price buddy lol. reinforces my thoughts on tradesmen anyway as well as just doing everything yourself if possible. watched a team of builders take close to 5 months to put a one room extension on my neighbours house. seemed like they have a break every hour or so and lots of standing around talking etc etc. not my idea of money well spent.

well im cheaper than like green acres etc. Most lawns only take 20-40mins so the average charge is 25-35 dollars for a regualr mow.- prices range from 15 for a small lawn that takes 15mins to 50 for a big lawn that takes like an hour. (a 1/4 acre section will take about 25 to 45 mins, depending on what type of mow and the layout of lawn etc) but yeh i think you are stupid or something i bet your boss makes more than 50 an hour out of the work you do for him edit: and remember if you're earning 20 an hour as an employee you get to keep every cent you earn after tax- no expenses, no reinvestment in the business. You get 4 weeks payed holiday. Sick leave. Free tea and coffee. Paid smoko breaks. You also dont have to spend your evenings/weekends doing book work and trying to collect the money you're owed

I'm not some nuts boy I do good work and all my work gets certed i make custom headers for race cars engine transplants fabrication all tig welded etc I dont know what you normaly pay for work but I also know you get what you pay for ( you pay nuts money you get nuts work ) I'm having my race car built by a mate of mine and it's $80 hr I'm not complaining and As for Tims car I tryed to save costing him money by him and me looking for replacement rear quaters and inner A pillers Guards etc but we could not find any good ones and that's also why I have not fixed his front rh guard it would take me a whole day to fix ( 8 hrs @ $50 = $400 ) it's not worth it I said let's hold off and try and find one . when you do up old cars thay cost money nuts happens end of story
