-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camo is pretty done and just about as gay. Matt two town however is not. But some people will dissagree with this. Or just matt it an original colour. Over the summer my car got REAL dirty and I decided that matt beige was the next best thing. Perhaps you could do that?! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yea, I've decided (after seeing all these mean kombis) to go with a flat as olive or yellow or something. Maybe even the color of the yellow primer on my car at the mo, Barry Whiteing awesome looking. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That what I want, but can't be fuccked. Gonna just go for the original-rat look styles. Just do nothing pretty much.
Again tossing up wether I want chevette bumpers, would be mean to get some modded to fit. Link to Post - Back to Top Logged mikuni God almighty Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 1,351 Location: Hamilton Karma: -23 [ Exalt | Smite ] Re: cheapskate paintjob « Reply #9 on Apr 14, 2007, 10:01pm »
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They wouldn't require moding would they? Wasn't it only the plate light that you'd have to put on the top?
Copy some of the style of the variant we have here. Its got it going on, just needs to be cleaned up. Two tone patches all over is fuken mean. Yeah width is mint but just the mounting is wack... At the moment I'm gonna go for gem rear lights with no garnish, looks pretty cool. Might up(down)grade to chevette lights at some stage later.

Oh goodie! Forgot about that
If you're still having trouble getting it running well, it may be worn distributor bushes - quite an easy job to replace and they cost around $5 a piece, IIRC. When they are worn, it makes it a real cow to set the points accurately and the timing will be all over the place as the shaft moves. Link to Post - Back to Top Logged 77vette God

Little fudgesters, aren't they - I should have one on an old carbie, I try so stick them back on as it's a lot harder to misplace those hunks of alloy. No real hurry with the dosh, Tim, I'm sure I'll meet up with you sooner or later, perhaps when dropping of the clip (assuming I can find one and you still need it) - did you lose the one of the green meanie?
