2004 australia day the car started its transformation Cuts were sourced from an 82 TF gemini sedan lots of maths involved in making sure the doors an boot still close properly smoothing the panels takes time.. Count the layers of paint (add the 2 coats of white enamel that i scraped off) front panels were quite good to begin with , this always helps *note* this car was joined along the FACTORY JOIN along the floor pan , and staggered on the "A" pillars for maximum strength This is bootlid no:3 , the only one straight and rust free enough Engine bay took a bit of prep work here i have taken the battery tray out , to be relocated in the boot the hump for the bonnet holder was also taken out and smoothed over car in undercoat waiting for colour colour being applied topcoat clear 2k vv Engine bay painted with motor rear in colour this is with the rear complete , and trial fitting the roll cage and with mags currently having the carbs cleaned and rebuilt as its been sitting around for a while , and im keen to have it on the road and rego'd

Watchin this Dvd I got given, there was a Group C racing Gemini Coupe, with the same front end & rear (different rear lights though).. Red & white one.. Will try to find some pics of it later..
Mightey fine looking Gem you've got there, Im guessing you chopped up a early Gem, and then put the whole floor pan & chassis from your cut from a later model gemini sedan there?
Cheers,Chris
