Hey guys long time no update. I have completed my parts list and I have officially nothing else to buy for the car, I have also paid off my large debt... This is the last time I saw the car, has been a very long time I'd say close to a year, its been in my dads mates shed while he works on his project in our shed. Progress is super slow. I am picking up my widened steels once again from the powder coater as they had to be sent through the booth again. Prep work is complete on the car and paint has been bought just waiting for our man to get some free time to spray it then the fun begins putting the badges on, glass in, trim the carpet, make front door cards, put the wheels on, front and rear lights in and then set up the carb. Go for a WOF and she will be complete. Since my last update I bought a new daily, it's an original 88 mk3 ma70 supra, manual, 7mge non turbo with 170k kms on the clock. 3 elderly owners, I have cleaned it up well and replaced a few broken parts. here is a lit of things I have done. Everything I have bought can be switched back so the supra is 100% stock standard. - Sparco steering wheel and boss - 1 off custom made Delrin shifter 170mm - replaced and painted drivers wing mirror - replaces and painted front mud guard/ trim section - tinted the windows 35% - full service - second hand struts stripped down for... - bilstein shocks awaiting arrival from Germany with 65mm all round lowering springs + front and rear sway bars - smoked plexiglass rear visor/sunshade You can check it out here s751.photobucket.com/albums/xx157/mychevettepics/or here www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?158342-Ryans-ma70-supraI will be posting more often here now as the chevette is almost done. Can't wait.

Going to see the hatch from where it is still yet to be painted.
Will post some photos up when I can, the painter is trying the colour with white and also grey primer so I will choose what colour primer make the paint come out better.
Once painted it will be back on wheels and then the carb set up also a few bits and pieces to tinker with wiring wise.

From what I remember they were $75 each from 13x5.5 to 13x7 keeping original offset, steel surgeon did mine, www.thesteelsurgeon.co.nz/I would go 8's if I were to do it again, get some insane dish on there make them fit. Hope that helps

^ I think it was a bit more because I got him to polish the dish down after welding so you couldn't see it had been welded after powder coating... I've seen a few on here which you can see where the band has been welded.

Went to see the chevette yesterday.
The body work on the car is complete, it looks amazing thanks to my fathers mate Jim who will be painting the car. It is ready to be primed I'm going with grey primer as the Toyota sandstone colour comes out way lighter with white primer. Once primed Jim mentioned painting it next weekend.
After that I'll get the steelies on, get the glass in and make it weather tight, set up the carb and sort out a few electrical things.
Exiting

Hi guys, is anyone after a 1256 exhaust manifold flange I made on auto cad and laser cut myself ? was going to use it but ended up going another path, $20 to anyone here before I put it on trade me. Here are some pictures with the paint on the car and wow, still needs lacquer it comes out quite a bit lighter and a lot more shiny as the bonnet and tail gate are done. Box of parts dug out which had been sitting for 2 or 3 years Thanks.
