www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=284715919These will suit a Gemini or Chevette that isn't fully slammed. So if you have a standard-ish height car, or one lowered to not much more than 60mm from standard, these would be perfect for you. This is the only reason I'm selling them - my car is too low. Got them on TM for $700 no reserve, but I'll sell them to a GM-T member for $650 cash with the withdrawl as my loss. This is the amount that I paid for them excluding shipping and GST, so you'll be getting a sweet deal. Any of you cats are welcome to come and have a look at them if you like. I can do measurements if you like also. Cheers kids. Oh, and if you are doing a carby turbo Gemini, I have a dizzy that's modded for vacuum advance AND boost retard. It's got a sweet diaphragm that I got from the states and had modded in there.

There is no withdrawal fee if you say you didn't sell them and put a reason in for withdrawal, ie "noticed items are slightly damaged, have pulled auction to repair."

Whats the total extended length for the rear shocks? Would you sell just the rears?

did you ever measure these up zeppleon? I'm getting close to needing rear shocks now and trying to weight up whether its worth splashing out on these or just standard ones. I'll probably get them if they are the right measurements
edit: thats total lenth extended and compressed

I'll do it tonight, but I have been toying with maybe using the front ones in the back, depending on the length.

holy craap those rears are huge, way too big for me unfortunately. I may have found something else suitable for the rear, just from a Honda. Will see how that goes.

Yeah they are massive! The fronts are the same tho, would they work in the rear?

Outta interest, would you separate fronts? I'd have to have a measure my rears up when the ground drys up and when I get some time..

Yeah they are massive! The fronts are the same tho, would they work in the rear? Length wise they should be fine. The only reason you can't usually use Gemini fronts in the rear is because the bottom eye has a steel insert in it which is the same diameter as the pin that the rear shock mounts to. What I usually do is simply knock the pin out, then you can bolt them straight up. In this case it seems a bit different because the eyes on both shocks look the same, so I'm not too sure what the story is there. If you are putting them in just make sure they don't preload those springs too much.
