Any wheel will fill the arches with the right amount of lowering. Those wheels you posted will be a crap front wheel drive offset and look silly on the car - they'll sit in a bit too much.

Mine are fwd offset and do sit in a tad... I don't mind that though. Hard trying to commit to a style... bit of coin to drop, personally reckon those wouldn't look to good on a viva... on a later model (TE,F,G) Gem would be a different story, Viva looks so much older... Alex's comments of what would suit it were pretty spot on... anyone on here good at photochopping? May help... Depends on the look you want to end up with... end of the day you can always change them again!

Heres a thread of oldschool.co.nz man. It was a mate of mines but he has since sold it. Its only on widened steels, which I'm not pushing but just showing that even smaller wheels (13's) with a good width and offset can really work on a Viva, or any old car for that matter. www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12714&hilit=viva

widened rozzies always look good imo. viva's got more clearance in the guards dont they? 8's in the rear, 7's in the front. super low springs - and as i said before "drop a v8 in it"! btw for anyone interested theres an LJ Torana shell going cheap on trademe.

nzvivahc,
For example on my Gemini wagon, came originally on 155/80r13's, I then put 13x7's with 185/65r13's.. The car is lighter to steer, much much more positive in the feel. Apart from that it handles amazingly well (I put new shocks throughout with 2 coils cut, then replaced with kingspring superlows in the rear) .. Before going around a corner moderatly excited would cause a squeek or excessive amounts of body roll, now it sits fairly flat and to be honest I have to be really really trying to get it to break loose..
Just my 2c worth, I'd do it.. +1 for widened steelies, hotwires wont suit, step bro is putting 13x8 superlites on his.. (I scored him two dirt cheap - on clearance)

Royce clive engineering will cut & weld your centers into centerless rims (which going by elites current pricing - will be as cheap if not cheaper)
