Had my first run ever at Manfeild on the weekend, weather was shocking!! Rained for 4 days pretty much without stopping, Qualifing and the first race were dodgy as with standing water all over the track, finished 17th out of 27 in the grid start ( fastest at front and all go together ) 2nd race is handicaped and I am not the slowest anymore started 7th on the third flag giving 15 seconds head start to pole. Got through them all and took out our first win, was stoked as for the rest of the weekend. 3rd race was a DNF with another ball joint issue.
Was good to be out in the wet as i quite like it and it evened up the field as no one was on slicks, all going well should have some slicks to run at the next race, not the big fatties but should be a big step up.

Cheers guys, it will take at least a year to get it going really well and to learn the setups for the different tracks but we are very pleased with progress so far. Upcoming rounds below

What was that thing? It looks FWD and very forgiving. That guy is also quite aggresive, or is everyone in the series like that?

I especially like how you ever so slightly pull away from him on the straights, but he is just much quicker through the corners, in the wet atleast.

yeah it is quite quick aye, apparantly it owes him about 80k, most of the field are pretty good and i think if it was a 50/50 call would leave it. I was right with him when he lost it and could have gone either side but thought against it.
The quickest times of the day were set by a FWD na integra, it seemed they could get the power down earlier than the RWD boys.
Still havnt weighed it but think I would be about 100+kg over, can be 900kg with me in the car!! Glass guards and lexan windows in the off season should make some difference. Mind you so would cams and a tunable EFi................................
