American chevettes

thought id throw up some north/south american chevettes. like that front end eh. with double grill/vents in the bonnet. lowered & tinted windows seems to be the look over there. lot of V6/V8 conversions which is alot easier for them i guess as most of their cars are either 6's or 8's.

I fuken love everything about that GP 2. Its so sweet. Proportions are wicked, colour is so sweet. And 2 door sedan! Heaps of them seem to be over there.

The north american ones are horrible though, like that one in the first picture. They actually had 4 door hatchbacks over there which seem quite common but are super uncool as far as t-cars go. They also had some gay as push rod 1800 or something that made about as much power as a 1256 but was far less fun /they weren't that bad.

that gp2 IS nice- paintjob is similar to what i am thinking but mines based on a SLR5000

Not much in common between the US/Canadian Chevettes and ours.
Got a Hot Rod mag where they were doing a budget build and stuck a 500CID Caddy engine into a Chevette - the theory was the biggest engine they could get in the smallest car.

I think they may also have been sold as the Dodge Arcadia
