From Fri/Sat before we hit Santa Pod
Good cars , crap weather .
You'll have to excuse some of the shots due to the sideways rain ;D
MK2 Vauxhall Cavaliers
^ He was going for the euro look according to the spec sheet .I always thought one of these would look good with the side strips removed ( not that you can tell from the pic ! )Only thing I wasn't keen on was his airbrushed mural thing on the petrol flap . If you want to be that German/Dutch get a GF with hairy armpits .
^ Never seen an estate for years and then that burbled in ;D
I quite like the Calibre kits . Seems a good way of hiding the rust if nothing else
And a couple more from when the sun actually came out for more than five minutes..
I was camping with the Chevette Owners Group lot ( C.O.G ) Bit of a mixed bag , estates, hatches, standard, scruffy, minters,Chevettes,Kadetts etc - even a Ford Focus
Very nice Kadett this is . Nice clean engine install ( hidden washer bottle , hidden wiring , battery in boot ) .
^ Vearly early being on a P plate..makes it a '76
Went for a wander around the autojumble ..
^ Yours for $2,437 - er , no ta
Well sorted Viva HB
'Trevor and Lee' are always at Billing ( I bought my Firenza off them - good lads ) Trevor was in this ..
All it's had is a bit of paintwork , a slight drop , slightly lower profile tyres and some clear indicators - lovely .
Their pal was in this Chevette , soon to be getting Toyota power I believe
You may have seen this blue Kadett on a few forums . I saw this a few months back when I picked up an axle off him , he's worked his socks off to get it to Billing - it'll be super once painted.
Toyota 20v engine , AE86 box , HS axle.
His mate had this Kadett with him
Vauxhall Novas
^ Well I had a load of plexiglass , a couple of rolls of migwire , a case of beer and the telly was boring , you know how it is..
More in a mo. .
