Deffinately bolt arms to chassis first man, you'll struggle to get the leverage to do it the other way around. The guy at the suspension shop told me to bang the front side of the rear mount out a fraction just so its abit easier to get the rear of the control arm in. Makes it alot easier and then it just gets bent back to where it should be as you do the bolt up.
I found it was easier to get the crossmember mount sorted first then do the rear one.

Well yeah, technically its driveable. But its just sitting on the bumps front and rear. Cut bumps at the front too, with my modified stuff up there so it can actually go that low without bottoming out on the shocks.
To get it to sit this low and be drivable you'd have to do abit more work to the rear. You wouldn't be able to run a larger diff and if you are using bigger wheels, it obviously will go a little higher. Plus you would need to get it certed, but I'll be going through that process soon anyway so I'll let you know what troubles I run into, if any. Plus its not going to be this low, because I'm using 13's.

I found some extra massive planks of wood today!(like 3 meters long!) So now i can make my car really low (desprung) and still park it in my driveway!!!! Im so excited. Also i cleared out my shed so now the chevette has somewhere to sleep I got a strange pecking order going at my house. Chevette has the one and only garage park. Rx7 has the front lawn, Skyline has the top of the driveway, Legacy has the lower part of the driveway and the fairmont gets the road( too wide ;D)

My driveways a little dodge too, but luckily its wide so I angle it in the neighbours driveway and drive down the sidewalk to get in without getting stuck. Lucky its a fairmont you're parking on the road. Won't even have to lock it aye. No one will steel one of them ;D

ha yeah the fairmont's the only one with a wof or reg so no real worries there, Haha Too bad tho cos i just swaped it for an xr185 ;D My Gts-t is all fixed and hopefully it will get a wof soon. The legacy is my mums car and the chevette doesn't deserve a wof.

Why does the chevette not deserve a wof? Chevettes are worthy of great things. You should know this.
