I keep seeing that JST2LO or what ever the plate is, royal blue wagon on white 17"s around. I think an Indian fellow owns it, living in Grey Lynn. I saw it at the NAtioals show last year or maybe the Autosalon... one of them. I think it might have an SR20.

saw a couple down in the waikato last week...a white coupe and a tan/bronzy tx sedan outside the new world in south hams.
Also saw a 1 page feature on an air bagged tg sedan in an old nz performance car mag, the 1 with the rayglass celica on the cover. Says it was one of the 1st bagged vehicles in nz...

Yeah I've seen that blue one a few times. I always thought it looked ridiculous on the wire wheels.

if bags wernt so hard to maintain theyd be sooo cool. Jus luv the idea of parking the car and having it rest on the bump stops. Wires are a bit odd looking... maybe with chrome bumpers and a more low-riderish paint scheme and chrome trims it would suit... still respect 4 owning a tg!!

^ it was sooo awesome! I loved it even more than the hamster. And it was so cool to see them actually respecting an old car aswell, not just demolising it like usual.
I would love to have an old opel kadett b like that.

Are you sure it was a B? I thought Bs have the lights in the grille. That may have been an A. Maybe I'm wrong. It was like a better verson of a Cortina GT/Anglia/Everything Kadett B Kadett A So badass. I think we should be importing some from Africa. It's perfect. No rust as it's so hot, and right hand drive

This has been quiet for a while. I found a Gemini in Whitianga in the weekend. It was the most fu*ked one I have ever seen, which was a pitty because it was quite a nice old Isuzu Sedan. Heres the carjam of it if anyone happens to be interested in it for parts etc. Looks like the reg is still live despite its condition and the fact it has gone 5 years without a wof. www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=iw6306

Found a guy with a Gold TG Gemini Sedan on 17s, tidy as, he also owns a Blue & silver TF Sedan, Talked to what I presume was his old man, apparently the gold one is getting a rover v8..
Left him my phone number, so hopefully he gets in contact.. (Send him this way)
