77vette, if you're not to under the weather tomorrow (Sunday) I should be at the storage place around noon, if you want to pick up the centre caps and nuts then - leave a message if so and I'll make sure I'm around at that time.

Hey guys, Well, finished (kinda) putting the Gemini Diff in , one problem, the farking torque tube crossmember holes are in the wrong places Rang some guy up in the buysell & exchange (from like 2-3 weeks ago) and told him I have some Chevette parts that he wanted - $30 Distributor and Wiper arm Stalks.. All sweet , got talking turns out its his sons car (Chevette Sedan) .. Anyway to cut a long story short, he knows of another Isuzu Piazza, and will try and get hold of his mate/random guy and sell it to me.. Got him two dizzy's (for one of those dirty old 1256's) and our wiper stalk, all sweet, went to go ring him , and f**k I have lost the piece of paper!! Cheers,Chris

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Just make sure it has a matching oil pump drive - early cars had an offset slot, later cars had a straight slot.

Center caps acquired might be swapping my gtst for a mint fzr250! which will see the chevette restored to its rightful place as my number 1 car.....oh mygod! hahaha

what a homo. you have a r32 as a 'number 1 car' ahead of a chevette. your not my friend anymore.
edit: you should swap your ryrine for a crashed 1000cc + bike and do a bike engine conversion on the chevette. that might redeem yourself.

Let's just say, with ancilliaries, it's WELL into 5 figures If I was starting from scratch, now, I should be able to knock off at least $4k. Some of you guys should also give some consideration to the 16XE engine found in some of the Holden Barinas etc. Around 160hp on throttle bodies and a decent exhaust system with stock internals - a nice light, compact engine.

^ same for me spent like 4 grand on engine parts and have to spend more than double that to get a running engine stupid rotarys haha. I have scaled down my plans tho and im gona just run an electronic dizzy and a carb rather than injection. Got a dizzy last week and im workn on sorting out the carb at the moment. Also gota sort out geting my housings ported in the next week or so as well as geting my rotating assembly lightend and balanced... then ive gota fork out for new seals, seal springs ,o rings, gaskits, oil pump, pullys....then i gota get some guy who knows whats what to assemble it. I wish money grew on trees haha.
