:POk guys, shagga I was getting the piazza off tis no longer replying to txts etc etc...
Anyway Gemini & Piazza motors are a bit thin on the ground really, so what do any of you have?
1600/1800/2000 - well anything, from a Rodeo, Piazza, Gemini - so long as it'll fit in the chevette without hassles.. - Ive got a 5spd Gemini 'box & clutch so Im sorted there...
Am actually leaning toward a Carb'yd engine for the Chevette due to the fact of less hassle with wiring loom & injection - also easier to fix if something goes wrong. But if you've already got one out with loom etc etc I'd still be keen
Must have Flywheel also
And cause Im like most of you GM/T guys, Im a stingey Cun7 that wants to pay as litte as possible
Cheers,Chris

Really ? That'd suck arse if thats the case... Ah to true pushrod vs OHC.. Cheers,Chris Its only the starter motor position thats different. Apparantly the diesel ones work and theres one of those on TM. If I did manage to aquire a twincam I'd sell it for what its worth, which is $500+

Definitly keen, would you throw in a gem front sway bar, For that price? I'd take the lesser of the two, plan to throw a race stz cam & plane the head a few mm ...
Hmm, Will ring round wreckers again make sure they dont have any, save having to ship one down. Shipping I bet will be the killer factor.
Cheers,Chris

Was thinking of bolting two swaybars together for my car so I dont really have a spare.
Shipping shouldn't be more than $100 meh could be totally wrong I wouldn't pay more than that myself though.

burntrubber, I'll take you up on your offer, I'd like to buy the 1600 off you, Dont need a clutch/pressure plate or starter motor. If that helps. Probably easier for you to sort shipping out than me?? If you or anyone has a Sway bar and rear brake bleeder nipple they'd like to chuck in , I'll give you some more $ for them.. Will have to sort the online banking with westpac ,and then I can get the $$ to you. Cheers,Chris
