My sister wants to sell her '77 coupe and get a newer car. I was going to buy it off her but now I'm not sure if I'll have the time to do it up so we're looking for expressions of interest. Original unmodified condition. Wof expires in November. Needs a couple of bits of welding done but the body is in pretty sound condition overall. Motor is a bit tired but they're cheap enough to replace. Although its not a minter it is a good honest car that just needs a bit of TLC to restore it to its former glory. I'll try and get pics before the weekend.

I'm sure everyone will be atleast a little bit keen on this. You got me looking anyway. Very keen to see pics when you can get them.
Hows it for rust in the floors and sills? Is that where it needs the welding?

The floor and sills actually seem pretty good. There are two easily fixed patches of rust in the boot that need doing. The original drivers seat was replaced with a random one before she got it and now a couple of the mounts have broken away and there is a crack in the floorpan next to one of them (it was mounted really poorly).

Oh yeah, that doesn't sound too bad. Yeah get some pics of the areas of concern and the car in general. Maybe a vague price you have in mind also.
Disapointed that shes selling a gem in favour of a newer car though. Thats not cool! You should buy it.

She doesn't want to sell it but it's just not practical for her to own such an old car. I'd love to buy it (and still might) but I really need to get on and do up my Starion.

Wow awesome. I was in love with these back when i was like 15. Was looking for one but found an ae85 instead. Fully would consider buying this if i didn't already have 5 cars and a motorbike  Still might be keen if the price is right tho. |

No worries  . Those rust pics certainly don't do the car any favours but as far as I can tell that's all of it. The reason I've put it on here first is that we want to see it go to someone who'll appreciate and look after it. |

fark thats mint man. this is pretty much as good as they get for a standard coupe, zep will confirm the number of munted coupes we've been to look at. Seriously some one's goota buy this! One of the chevette boys should.....  Great car man, ill put the word out amung my mates. |
