Gutted, apparently he pulled it down to rob parts for his rebuild but he forgot that he did this. He did say he would look at separating his engine/box combo if it does't selling this time on TM.
Otherwise type 9's come in any 5 speed sierra which seem to pop up at pick-a-parts and other wreckers quite regularly so perhaps thats the easiest and cheapest option, bearing in mind that gaz live in wellies anyway.

Hey thanks for trying anyway. It's good to know it's the ole classic sierra 5 speeder tho. Should be plenty around.

Yup, the non-dohc version just if you happen across one.

Yep, avoid the later DOHC Sierra box, unfortunately. That is the MT75, which is actually a considerably better box, but has an integral bellhousing so is of no use to you.

I'm so excited for you man! Looks like a good setup.
From those pics you will need to do a little bit of cutting up front to get that radiator sitting nicely and just bare in mind that installing the gearbox will be abit of trouble as the gb xmember will be different being from a gemini.
Other than that I think it will be a pretty straight forward swap looking at the CAS at the back and stuff. Looks like it was built to a high standard too with the braided hosing, super expensive joiners and the fuel pressure guage, among other things.
