Nice work on the crossmember. That looks like a good, simple yet solid solution to the problem introduced with engines like this.
Also like the fact you are using the original engine mounts off the crossmember. A few people warned me against this but I couldn't really see any real problem with it, so good to see someone else doing the same.
Gearbx crossmember looks great too. Very nice and simple, did you just put a plate inside the floor to help strengthen it?

I must admit, I've been a little bit over my Chevette lately but all this awesome progress between your car and several of the other members has certainly got me back in the spirit again. Great to see.

yeah where the cross member was put the oil pump right on top of it so there was no longer an option to chop the sump and move the bulge to the back. This way worked out much easier and ment no mods to the engine As long as the std mount points arnt in the way like in Tonys car there is no problem using them. Just some 3mm plate inside the car to hold up the gearbox. Builds sure can take a long time!! what I will end up with has been several years in the making but has been lots of fun and made some great mates on the way.
