Thats an awesome example aye, wheels suit it perfectly. Only thing I would change (other than engine/engine bay) is the deletion of the C-pillar vents. Detracts from it in my opinion.

I kinda like it. I wouldn't do it on my car, but I think it suits the late model bumpers and lights/grille

Jup, looking good - but I would loathe trying to plumb the exhaust headers on that beastie...

Well, if anyone can do it...

Yup. Many years ago, an aquaintance dropped a 461 Chev V8 into a Torana - the headers actually came forward to collectors and then the exhaust pipes bent back, under the crossmember! Remember, Tony also has to get the steering column in there somehow!

I'm going up tomorrow so will be sure to ask him what the dilly is on the headers. Let's hope for a spaghetti junction.

Theres actually quite a bit of room in there for the headers surprisingly. the left side of the engine will a bit of a pain to measure up for the headers but the right side he can probably do with the engine out. cant remember the story with the steering but ill ask tomorrow when im up there. Will probably see you zep as i'll be there for most of the day trying to get a new clutch into my crolla

Heres some pics of the progress on Tony's Chevette.. Pretty much engines had all the mounts made up and what not, alternators been fitted, headers made up (sent away to get coated), hacked into to make room for the steering stz, the front end setup has been reco'd and and shifted forward, brake reservoirs relocated above pedals on inside and an engine bay respray. The engines going back in soon (this week) and gonna be fired up and driven on to make sure the steering set up is sweet and has plenty of clearance. Some new springs are currently being made up and they will be going in after theyre done. That is all for now
