is that a 3sge? looks massive in there Blasphemy! Thats an Opel CIH (cam in head) engine, most likely a 22E, C24NE or something along these lines. It could even be a straight 6 3litre, but it doesn't quite look long enough.

It says 2.2 Injection on the cover... was just an example of a similar engine Gordo, we're talking about the motor in the white Kadett Wagon. Unless you have super good vision/screen and can read the writing on that engine?

bling bling wheels...so sad As far as big chrome wheels go they are in no way the worst kind... besides apparently they unbolt so don't really matter! That is pretty much the external result (minus wheels) I want from my Chevini wagon when I finally get round to doing it in a squillion years time. Eggshell white with red leather interior (maybe even a bench seat) and wide steels with chrome hubcaps and as much dish as can be mustered clad in the red leather on the dish... (if it works, wouldnt be any good in winter) Thinking maybe G200w or similar for oldschool retroness... sound horrid? Full late 70's custom spec... even found a place where you can buy full cow hides in any colour... expensive though

It could even be a straight 6 3litre, but it doesn't quite look long enough. its a 4 cylinder 2.2 Cam in Head fitted in the engine bay of a LHD Opel Manta. the one in the white wagon on the previous page will be along the same lines, either a 2.0 or 2.2 if it was a straight six the radiator would not fit where it is in the pic.
