So I've got a bunch of bushes to put into my control arms, and I figure I may aswell do this when I change the front brakes around.
Now what is the best way to do this, I'm sure I'm going to run into problems with ball joints and such. Brad, you've done this before... any tips?

Hay bro, yea some of the bushes you need to press out, dunno about anyone else, but mine were a thingy!!! ended up drilling the rubber out and splitting them from the inside with a hack saw, not cool!!!! they were definately designed to be put in once and once only. ball joints also need pressing, but not a big issue. If you run into problems I think Ive still got all the sleeves I made to press them out....
Oh man, I only just saw your question about how I prepared my bay, you still need some info?? Sorry bo, havent looked at my thread for ages...

Yeap, my experience was about the same. Thought it would be easy, couldn't do it. Took it somewhere else, they couldn't do it. Took it to a third place, they did it but it cost a little more than they thought and they said it was a c*nt. Was worth it though. And I got all the control arms etc sand blasted and painted at the same time also. Cheap and came out great. I paid $22 for each arm to go from dirty and rusty to clean and black ;D

Sweet, looks like I'm gonna have to take them somewhere then. Hopefully it's not too hard.

I've done mine now wasn't going to but ended up giving it a go. Had to weld up some bits to fit in the press to hold the arm inline and used the tiniest amount of heat once the weight was on it and they came out.
So in short ya don't really wana try it at home. Any suspension shop should be able to.
