This is what I was thinking also. He sees the early model imports with 1600's and that they are called pf50's then see's the later model imports, apparantly he may have only seen the ZZ/R models and they were refered to as pf60's so he takes it that this is because of the engine, rather than the model. But, thats just a guess.

Jase's 1980 TE Gemini has PF50 stamped into the fire wall His is still badged as an Isuzu I have three Holden Gemini's here and none of them have the same stamp so maybe it is a Holden/Isuzu thing.

Possibly aye, but that says to me that the other guy was right, because jases Gemini is the newer shape, not what we previously thought to be a 'PF50'. Seems to be an Isuzu thing also.

Yip thats what I was thinking that other guy said PF50 is Single cam and Pf60 is Twincam Jase's Gemini was originally a single cam which is why it is stamped PF50

My Isuzu I-mark is a PF60 from having been originally fitted with a G180Z SOHC as were all RWD I-Marks.

Just re read Zeps original post at the top and he says PF60 means 1800cc and PF60E is twincam at least I think thats what it means. So if your I-Mark has an 1800cc that would make sense. I fully think this PF thing is the engine code now when I always thought it was the model.
