@ mikuni do you know how heavy a sedan is? Not sure, just google it. I would imagine a little over 900kg as doors are heavy. Hatches appear to be 830-850kg depending on what trim etc (not that there are many options) and wagons are around the 890kg mark. Its quite easy to remove quite a lot of weight too, the rear seats are heavy and the covers in the rear also weigh quite a bit.

"Official" figure I have is 855kg for the hatch, which seems quite heavy but may be "wet" - with full tank, etc.

i spent thousands on that motor, new pistons and evrything. no doubt he left it out in the rain and got lotsa water in the filter then went and did some skids.

the vette is far sexyer. but yea the old gems on my watchlist too must agree... plus surely if fixed up right will hold a lot more value in the future than a tf/g gem sedo... sedans seem to be fairly common, not sure on actual ratio of wags/coupes/sedans but most that come up on trade me or the occasional t car seen out and about are sedans.

Guy down here has a chevette wagon, that I donated parts from a hatch derby car, his is real tidy and has a 4age in it...
