Yup he's right. Twincams are a little bit more tricky as manifolds etc don't fit straight in. Single cam is the way if you are trying to do it on the cheap. You can even just wack your carbed inlet on if you can't be arsed doing the efi thing. But thats just been lazy I guess.

Yeah if you manage to get an injected engine wire the injection up for sure. Took me about 4 hrs to install the engine and change the fuel line's to EFI line's. I used the pump and reg from the Piazza because they run the right pressure already. That 4hrs includes stripping the power steering and air con and swapping a few other bits off the Gemini engine over. Its not a big job to hook up the injection at all. Only took me another 4hrs to figure out what was wrong with my wireing and I know very little about auto elecrical stuff. Do it its awsome I'm turboing mine over christmass got the extra injector already.

Good question really not sure I want to use it but I'm not sure if the Falcon throttle body will work with the piazza ECU. I'm going to use that Rodeo 2L that I bought because its lower compression and just put all the injection gear onto it. I have it all sorted I'm gunna use the VL pump I have and a 1:1 rising rate regulator the turbo injectors I scored from a R31 Skyline there the hose tail type got them free!!  and the T25 turbo also free ;D I'll use a hobbs pressure switch to turn the extra injector on at 3-4 psi should work well I think. I know its not the best method of tuneing but I'm sure I'll be happy should be good for 10-12psi and with a locked diff some fun driving Will be selling my carbi turbo setup soonish may sell bits seperatly but probably be most of the kit if I can everything but the fuel pump and intercooler. |
