They might, an upgrade back in the day was to use E30 brakes on the Chevette discs.
As you say, only one way to find out.

question on the g200 how did you work out the coil? iv tried to do the same was a mean improvement untill the car started poping and farting after a few mins on the road and had to nanna it back home.
