I know what you mean, but just to compare apples with apples, you know? If you are buying a mega squirt to get it running with standard injection, then you might as well cost up a manifold to run a single weber down draft, as it will do about as good a job.

117 is not t car tho? hence differences. I bet the diff itself is same as isuzu gemini spec tho

technically no its not a t-car but alot of the parts are the same. that diffs a bit overpriced though and would be cheaper fitting a 4 link here. just interesting to know there are a few bolt in lsd's out there

that diff is a 4 link anyway - no torque tube or anything, it would be difficult to make fit. You'd be taking a risk assuming the head would fit in a Gemini housing too. Plus a million dollars for shipping

i meant fitting a 4 link & installing a hilux diff etc would be cheaper than importing 117 coupe diff

haha, yeah again, I know what you meant, all I'm saying is that even bringing that Isuzu 117 diff in won't be a bolt in because it is a 4 link setup anyway, no torque tube or anything so it would be just as difficult as putting any other diff in, 4 link or not.

steel surgeon reckons bout a hundy for some twin carb manny plates. including twin sidies should be very affordable engine with pretty decent output. just need headers and a new exhaust...and new paint lol. he also quoted me 75 bucks each incl gst for widening wheels which is very reasonable i think.

Nice man, only thing with solex's is they're harder to get bits for, but in saying that if they're cheap and complete then you've nothing to worry about really!

got a lot of other nice stuff there as well - mostly for bent 8s but much that can be used for other cars.
