Very nice man. An interesting colour you've gone for. Looks great though. Would be cool to see this out cruising this summer.

cheers chaps! good to get positive feedback! she owes me a nuts load of cash up to this point and 4 years! The colour is actually an Aston Martin colour from their DB9 range. Im pretty happy with it. I should upload some of the build pics. Every single panel had attention! should have never started the bloody thing but i guess someone has gotta save the old girls eh

I have to confess I havent actually put them on yet. I got the stub axles and all the front suspension components sand blasted and they are at the powder coaters now. Cheers to dad again haha. The plan is for everything to be either new or reconditioned. It has a shortened Hilux diff in the rear with a semi ladder bar set up which I havent seen done before so will put up a pic and see what you think.

Here is the diff set up. What do you guys reckon? The Engineer who did it does a lot of speed way car stuff and this is quite similar to how they are done.

Hard to tell from the picture, I assume it's a torque arm arrangement - that's basically what the stock diff uses? A good idea, to check for binding, is to remove the springs, leaving the dampers in place, and working it through the suspension travel, including roll.

This is what I have in my car too. They do work if done properly, will be fine for road use, but I will be upgrading to 4-link as I like to hit the track every once in a while.
