As for the lowering I been thinking about it all day. I got no pics from the beginning of the year when it was nearly as low as Mikuni's wag cross member on stock rims was 60mm off the ground and the rear was hard on the cut down bumpstops Was horrible to drive open road driving was horrid yeah so I raised it up so I probably wont go down again.

I can't change colour with PS, its too skilled. Kyteler or someone on OS might give it a crack though if you put up a thread?
I think you should lower it abit, especially if you're not happy with it now. I was just warning you off coming down too much.

Heaps going on in the shed at the moment. All four widened wheels nearly sorted. I have aquired a 4ze1 dizzy and my megasquirt is off being modded as we speak so I can run wasted spark and have the coil packs up behind the dash with the leads going through the firewall. Gonna do a whole new loom for the ecu probably gunna use evo 510cc injectors because there common as. Looking at finnishing that commie lsd to because its the same width as a standard gem diff but that piazza diff I have is 40mm wider which is causing wheel clearance issues.

My sons going hard crawls all over the show he'll be walking soon I have him 90% of the time cause my wife bought a dance studio at the beggining of the year so she's allways busy. Because of this the gemini has been neglected and its probably gonna stay that way got to use all those little pockets of time quite wisely to make progress I want it all done in 6 weeks lol.

Been doing heaps latley got the Megasquirt modded for wasted spark and completly rewired it with all the wires under the inlet manifold and all the relays and resistors for the injectors up under the dash. I made a little blank cap so the E1 dizzy looks like a CAS. Got it running today had a few issues but I got there god damn iridiam plugs they foul up real easy. I used mitsi coil packs and modded the wheel in the dizzy so the megasquirt could read it. Coils the cas can sorta see the cas in this one

I did the steels my self in the end henwoods did the first one so I could get an idea of wether or not it was what I wanted but I wasn't happy with it. It's true as balanced up with only 8grams I think but it leaks and the cosmetic apperance of the welding is shocking. Mine are as good as henwoods for balance etc but mine dont leak and the welding looks good. I think your v8 will be awesome I would like to do a small v8-v6 twin turbo conversion is something one day.

It's a magnetic reluctor wont work with what I've setup. Plus the E1 dizzy is optical far better signal I've been told.

Sweet, I worded that wrong and meant to ask what the 4ze1 dizzy was but you answered it anyway. I needed to know cause the g200w dizzy cap and rotor hit the manifold I made and wasn't 100% sure I could run wasted spark with the g200w dizzy.. so I can just take it all off, run wasted spark and make a little cap like you did. I guess it pays to put the ancillaries on before you go making custom stuff Cheers!

I make sure everything is in when I make something I've learnt the hard way also its easy to over look something. SR20 cas can be adapted Jase up here has one in his DOHC.
Setup the rev limiters today sound crackup Gem hittin the limiter. Was unstable as to start with shook the car like mad got it sused though. Sounded like a honda at one point but I sorted that phew.

haha hondas sound mean.
I also learnt the hard way, my extractors were made for my engine with a standard sump and then I found the manta sump with big wing and woopsy, need to mod the extractors now!
Good to see some nice progress coming along with the wee beasty.
Tom, becarefull if you're basing stuff on the single cam dizzy and what works for Jase. You probably know already if there are any differences or not but between the twin and single cam but just keep in mind that what works for one may not for the other.
