Man muscles...nah i dono. Im guna pull mine out to fix rust in the near future. Have you got a workshop manual? i havnt even looked at how to get it out so i should probably stop talking.

Hmm... actually all I really need to remove is the instrument cluster thing. Any takers on that? Actually i do have a manual. I'll read that nuts. Means

Dunno bout the Chevette but in my Tg and other cars I've done first thing you do is get the steering wheel off along with all the trimmings around the column and unbolt the column so it can hang down abit. Then you have to just unscrew what ever else you have to to get the cluster out.

iv gota spare dash at home, mate pilld it outa gordos doner vette will chek out where the bolts r @ just outta interest. my clusters all jus popped out aye, there are clips top and bottom tho jus a gentle lever from a wide blade putty knife may help if ur's wont cum so easily...

Yup, a couple of spring clips and it "should" slip out quite easily - I say "should" 'cause often it's a real pain - but then I've big hands. Don't forget to take off the steering column trim.

Sweet got it off fine. It was one of those things where you're not sure if it should pop out and I didn't want to force it but it came out pretty easily anyway.
Can't get it to click right back in though. Any tips on that? lol.. I can't see if its hitting on loom or anything.

It can be a real hassle. Make sure you've the fixed clips in place, then push the spring clips in.

where you @? have a couple of dashes out of the car if you wanna look at one to see bolt locations... otherwise I could pxt you.

just get under it bro. think theres like 4-5 little bolts you need to undo. undo the speedo and take the instrument cluster out first
