Cars back rust is fixed but not up to agood standard... But hey I guess u get what you pay for, pretty Barry Whiteed off at the old Mrs Funt'maRunt, also tunnel is all folded up and in place, will have a play with it when I get some time

Will need to have the existing tunnel cut to height, guys rekn that I could weld in a bit of flat bar over the weld to give it the added strength? Idears but I properly don't know what I'm doing haha

Just get someone to swage it, adds the strength without the extra weight..

Either some folds in it or a rolled groove will add the strength you are after. Flat panels tend to drum or vibrate.

Never mind rekn I could weld some swaged panels under the new tunnel? And fully welding the g box mounts? Ill take pics soon.

You should be able to tell by looking at them/ use ya imagination.
Any sheet metal place will be able to roll swages into your tunnel piece. It's up to you if it needs it... If the steels thick enough just zap it on and when ready underseal the crap out of it to help with any road noise.

Changed a wheel bearing today made a start on the tunnel welding it from the inside of the car going to have a bit of over lap on the underside, will properley end up pulling eng/gbox out again and weld that up nice, swap over break lines ect. Time for a big play on all the little fiddly nuts
