anyone know the standard for welding the firewall? dose it have to be fully welded? and the clearence issues? whats the clearence between the tunnel ect to the gbox? just would like to know before i start. brought a welder today and wana gt stuck into it

also trial fitted the engine took all of 15 mins to get in sitting right haha but thats with noo clutch on

I think I may have Barry Whiteed up.... Put the engine in and hydrolic actuator for the clutch but now it won't turn over the engine with the clutch setup. Thinking I may have to pull out the engine and Barry White around sleuth the fork assembly. Anyone have any opinions?

After a cupple hours of swearing finaly figured out what was wrong. An incorrectly assembled slave cylinder, the piston and spring were placed backwards. So ill have to gt a new one or ripapart one

Yes thats right, the same as my holley fuel pressure reg. Mine is like that also. I have mine mounts at the front, not sure which method is correct though...

So yours mounts before the fuel pump? I'm having problems trying to get pressure up to the carb? I think there's a bit of witchcraft going on?, I'm basically trying to get everything bolted in running then take it all bk out so I can weld up drill holes and stuff Taking forever,

Done a fair bit of work over the weekend. Put a gilmour dive set on and tried to gt it goin, found out that I had a dodgey coil so I've been robbing parts off the Gemini, Had to tow start it but got it going finally but the thing won't idol by itself and need to keep the revs up, anyone know if these engines Are meant to get real hot After a few tiny runs I noticed the performance was getting better and we also did a compression test first wich read 40psi at both, very odd
