single cam onto single cam yes but pointless... others will know the reasons, compression blah blah they use G161z heads on G200z blocks to up compression I think it is... what do I know a G180z head may be identical... Do you need a new head? pulling an engine down soon... could get it crack tested at your own cost prior to payment and freight... $60 for head if all good... ran sweet, rings were shot though... made massive clouds of smoke so scrapping the engine.

You'd be better off with weber and extractors (and then getting exhaust done - a decent exhaust opens up and gave the wagon the same fuel economy as the original motor)
If you want to look down more power, easiest for least amount of money is a g200z. Then look at working a motor

pretty hard to find a g180z in NZ anyway. like the other guys said just put a g200z in and work that or if you can find a twin cam even better. other options are the 4zc1-t or a 4ze1 2.6 rodeo engine

aw yeah could be keen iv got the controls on the dash it shouldnt be to hard to find piping to fit it how much do you want and where in nz are u man checked thread to see what shape gem you want wiper motor for... my spare will need mods to work as its a 5 pin plug version from a TX/TC/TD and maybe TE. Appears it would bolt in OK but would need to chop your plug off loom and either find a similar plug to fit new motor or crimp on some flat plugs... or try and make two motors into one if that works, motor part looks same as the one in my TG wagon. Anyway holler out mate, may be better than nothing or perhaps continue the search.
