Nice... I can't decide whether or not a Chevette hatch is good for a daily or not.

a chevette hatch would make an excellent daily! great on gas, and not too big for zipping around traffic...

yeah sweet sunroof and it doesnt even leak!! plans long term ?? still want to spend about 10k on the green one short term it will be a daily drive car for the wife, have some 13" BMW alloys that will be ok with some 175/185 and a set of off the shelf springs to sort the ride out. It would be worth giving a paint job at some stage and I will get a set of those carpets off trade me too, it is just really tidy!! a small dent in the tail gate and some surface ruse from the stone chips but feckin straight as is it Torana springs that fit these things? what year?

I wanna put a sunroof in the gem eh - awesome for summer cruising. torana springs might be a bit stiff for a daily no??? ive got gemini dobinsons springs in my hatch and theyre pretty good although i had to cut a couple coils off to get the height i wanted. i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu356/misdablack/stuff022.jpg

use a cutting disc to cut around 1 1/2 coils off the front and KYB (preferably) dampers all round and it'll be a nice little shopping basket that will be surprisingly quick on 'intersting' roads.

got the chevette all up and running, dropped in some dobi's to sort the height and ride out. It had a new set of gab gas shocks in the rear that were too short but just right now. Found a new set of matching shocks in one of the wrecks at Tonys. Popped on some different wheels with some desent brigdestones, gave it a tune, bit of gear oil and adjusted the clutch, got the brakes to work and shes a minter!! drives nice as
